Leanne Howlett is the founder and Director of Retreats Victoria Pty Ltd. After completing a Bachelor of Business in Tourism/Marketing at Victoria University, she commenced her career with Mirvac Hotels & Resort and later moved to property sales with Mirvac Development. Mirvac’s shift into coastal development enabled Leanne to be responsible for the sale of Coast at The Sands Torquay launched summer 2004. As an owner of a coastal holiday home at The Sands, Leanne appreciates the importance for quality property management, which combined with strategic marketing activities, results in an attractive return on investment whilst being able to enjoy the property at her leisure.

Since resigning from their corporate Melbourne jobs and moving to Torquay, both Suzy and her husband have pursued careers within the local industry. Having worked for the Surf Coast Shire and later Quiksilver, Suzy joined the team at Golf Retreats Victoria as Reservations Manger in 2007.
Suzy has been integral in the growth of the Golf Retreats Victoria portfolio and as a result expanded her vision for the business to incorporate luxury coastal homes which saw the launch of Coast Retreats Victoria in 2007.

Both Leanne and Suzy are qualified real estate agent representatives and work with Torquay Links Property as Sales Executives selling luxury beach and golf homes.

Emily joined our Reservations team after making the sea change from Melbourne. With her she brought over 8 years hotel experience. Spending 6 years at Crown Melbourne in reservations, Emily is no stranger to 5 star service and lots of guest bookings! More recently Emily was charged with managing Events & Conferencing at the Cable Beach Resort in Broome where she was based in the Melbourne office and flew often to the Western Australia office to manage her team at the resort.
Emily's experience is apparent in her professional phone manner and understanding of 5 star customer service as well as attention to detail to ensure the guest's experience is a positive one.

Melissa Purcell

Melissa heads our accounts department with years of Accounting experience coming from large industrial companies such as Geelong Cement Works and more recently Gordon McKay Electricals. As a local resident of Torquay and mother of 4, Melissa was keen to work locally whilst still having the flexibility to manage her children's school and sporting activities. Coming from a career in a male dominated work place, Melissa is loving being surrounded by other like minded working mums! Melissa is the person to speak to regarding all aspects of money! and is available between 8:30am to 3:00 pm Wednesdays and Thursdays.
